The cinematography aspect of our film 'overdose' is heavily influenced by a Channel 4 series called 'Run'. In one scene a shot displays a close up of a mothers face, showing her emotions. Whilst in the background you can see two figures run into the room, however the shot stays on the woman's face. However, the sound design accompanies the piece and reinforces that her children are being arrested by police, although the shot is firmly on her. We intended to create this off-screen space in the opening and ending shot when Amber is sat in the car, and Dean get's arrested by police on the outside of the car. The shot will show a close-up of Amber's face with a blue flashing light on her face. Which represents the police flashing lights and sirens.
