AUDIO ONLY PROJECT IDEAS
1.
Documentary
audio style interviews:
·
Interviewing the public
- Their thoughts and
concerns about their daily routine in a morning (realistic
reactions and a larger range of information to use)
- Something embarrassing
that has happened to them when getting ready in a morning (this would generate entertaining
information but some people could not want to discuss embarrassing situations
with a stranger)
- Something that has gone
wrong in a morning (slightly less embarrassing and would generate an
entertaining response)
·
Audio vox-pop style (Research vox-pops)
- Short responses
("quality not quantity" replies)
- A large number of
responses
- A wide range of
different people (kids, students, workers, OAPs)
2.
Based
on one man's thoughts of his upcoming day (from waking up through the process
of his routine in the morning getting ready)
- Possibly restricted to
the amount of entertaining information to talk about and use in the script.
- The Actor will read a
script which represents the characters' thoughts throughout their getting ready
process.
Atmosphere Sound
·
Bedroom atmos' stereo sound
- Establish the awakening
in the bedroom (this will then transition into the bathroom atmos' stereo sound
when he walks into the bathroom).
·
(Possibly) Landing
or Hallway atmos' (footsteps from the bedroom to the bathroom)
·
Bathroom atmos' stereo sound
- Principally to capture
the tones of the room which will be used as base atmos' noise to add mono spot
effect sounds.
Mono Spot Sounds
Mono sounds to set the
location, time and place (bedroom, morning time):
- Wake up alarm
(sets the time and place)
- Huff and puff (the
man moaning and showing that waking up early for his daily routine is a
negative)
- Duvet (Pulling
of the duvet and getting out of bed)
- Footsteps
walking (across the hall to the bathroom)
- Birds tweeting
outside (sets morning scene)
Mono sounds showing the
process of someone getting ready in a bathroom in a morning:
- Toothbrush
(brushing teeth) - Electric or manual
- Toilet (flushing
/ lid going up or down)
- Tap running
(cleaning face / brushing teeth)
- Electric Shaver
(shaving face)
- Mouthwash
(swishing around the mouth / gargling)
- Shower (noise of
the water / feet slipping on the shower floor surface)
