Surreal Reversed Singing and Instruments

To make the 'dream' aspect of the audio only surreal, we reversed a live acoustic song and added AIR Reverb.

In the final mix the reversed acoustic song will not be a prominent sound, but instead layered with other sounds and possibly panned left or right to accompany the surreal vibe of the dream.

We have revered two separate acoustic songs which we recorded in a music studio. Both songs will give a surreal edge to our final mix, and exaggerate the idea that the character's desire and ambition is to become a famous rockstar. Although he knows his dream will never become true.

This screen shot shows how the acoustic singing track was reversed, using the 'Audiosuite' effects option.

This screen shot shows the controls from the 'Audiosuite'.

Below are the two reversed songs with added reverb.
